For centuries, Portugal has been a nation of navigators, with explorers who charted the globe and fishermen who mastered the Atlantic. The “Bravos do Mar” (Braves of the Sea) venture into rough waters daily in small boats, bringing in premium-quality catches that define seafood excellence worldwide.

The cold, nutrient-rich waters of Portugal’s coastline are essential to the superior flavor and texture of its seafood. From the sweet and succulent Camarão da Costa Portuguesa (Portuguese shrimp) to the coveted Percebes (goose barnacles), harvested under extreme conditions on rocky coastal cliffs, every ingredient tells a story of resilience and tradition.
